Turbo-charged engines allow automotive designers the freedom to create vehicles that offer better power output ratios from more compact engines, enabling a reduction in weight and volume, as well as decreased fuel consumption and cleaner exhaust gases.

Rotators

These are used on large diesel and gas engines. Each time a valve closes, the valve rotator turns the valve slightly, and allows the inlet and exhaust valves to be heated and cooled symmetrically. It also prevents valves sticking due to uneven carbon build-up, or wear on the valve seat.
